Brown Sprinkler is one of the leading fire protection contractors in Kentucky. It operates offices in Louisville and Lexington, Ky., and Indianapolis. The company has completed thousands of projects ranging from office buildings, industrial centers and heavy commercial sites to high hazard facilities. In addition to being qualified for fire protection systems installation, Brown Sprinkler has an in-house engineering staff, as well as a complete certified fabrication shop with a constant inventory of materials. A division of the company is Kentucky Fire Inspection Services. The primary function of this division is to provide fire system inspections. Also included within Brown Sprinkler is K&R Equipment Division, which maintains, repairs and inspects many lifts used on Brown Sprinkler projects. Additionally, this division maintains and repairs lifts for businesses and contractors in the area. K&R Equipment also provides sales, service and rentals for many different types of aerial lifts. Frank R. Brown founded Brown Sprinkler in 1958.
