At the corner of 24th Street and Wilshire, Michael's Liquor sells beer, wine and liquor, along with some groceries and household items. Mostly California red and white wines are available, with a few Italian imports. A refrigerator keeps a supply of whites chilled and ready to serve.
Plenty of cold beer is available, along with bottled soft drinks. All popular names in liquor are sold in various sized bottles. The liquor supply is mostly behind the counter, but is labeled by type to easily locate the desired selection. The store also has some very basic groceries, personal care products and medications. A refrigerator near the front has some pre-packed sandwiches and burritos that can be heated in a microwave at the store.
A few specialty services are available at Michael's Liquor, including LiveScan fingerprinting, passport photos and document destruction. These services are available only Monday through Friday, from 9am to 6pm. Generic ink and toner cartridges are also sold here at a discount from name brands.
