We are Collegiate Financial Advisors, an independent financial advisement firm that believes retirement planning takes place through every phase of our adult lives. During the accumulation phase of our lives ( when we are working to accumulate money, goods, and services ) we must structure our financial lives to live beneath our means, or spend less than what we bring in. Savings is a synonym for living beneath our means. Collegiate Financial Advisors acts as the coach during the accumulation phase so we have the necessary funds to provide income when we are not working ( savings and investments become the source of our income when we decide that we no longer wish to be paid for our daily activities ). During the accumulation phase college costs are often the largest expense we make. Therefore, Collegiate Financial Advisors has developed the highest level of expertise in all matters that involve the college years- high school through university graduation.
