Cammann is one of the world leaders in manufacturing metal disintegrators for removing broken studs, taps and drills without damaging internal holes. The cutting action of a metal disintegrator is accomplished by creating a series of intermittent electric arcs that break down the hardest metals into minute particles. An electrode, held in the head of the disintegrator, vibrates as it cuts while a coolant is pumped through the electrode to wash away the powdered metal. Cammann is also an original manufacturer of roll marking machines for permanent marking of master rolls in the rebar industry. Cammann supplies all types of space parts, as well, such as tooling and electrodes, which includes branding, moly and graphite. The company, which has been in business since 1955, is based in Wakeman, Ohio.
