Shuqualak Lumber is an independent, privately-owned Southern Yellow Pine lumber producer located in Shuqualak, Miss. The company production facility is among the largest and most efficient in the South, producing more than 100 million board feet of lumber annually. Since 1948, it has operated in the Shuqualak area. The company operates two plants in two divisions. The sawmill division is located north of Shuqualak on Highway 145 and the planer division is located on North Main Street. The Southern Yellow Pine is one of the mainstays of America s forest industry.
