St. Jude House provides services to the victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and their dependent children. Its shelter services includes a more than 40 day program that provides crisis intervention, housing, and referral services. The facility works in association with social service agencies and provides assistance in daily living needs, such as food, toiletries and emergency clothing. St. Jude House also provides housing, counseling and compassionate assistance. The facility additionally provides residential and nonresidential one-on-one counseling and legal advocacy for filing battery complaints and protective orders and supporting court hearings and attorney referrals. St. Jude House administers a volunteer program that utilizes volunteers and handles conflict resolutions for community groups, service providers, schools and churches.
