The Paulding County School system comprises 20 elementary schools, eight middle schools and five high schools. As of October 2010, more than 28,000 students attended those 33 sites, making the district the 13th largest in Georgia. Governing the district is the Paulding County Board of Education, which is made up of seven county residents elected by the voters. Board members along with the superintendent hold regular meetings twice a month and board retreats twice a year.

More than 100 seniors are served a day through the center, either on-site or through Meals on Wheels, as it serves as a nutrition site for the county.
