Established as a roadside produce stand, Brown s Orchards has turned into a thriving central Pennsylvania business. The farm store s fruits and vegetables are grown and harvested during the spring, summer and fall on the company s 180-acre farm. As customers leave the fruit room they walk into a cottage containing displays of the gift baskets that the company sells. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, Brown s staff is expected to create approximately 6,000 gift baskets and boxes. The company also offers bakery, deli, sweets and flowers. Brown s Orchards was established in 1948, when Earl and Margaret Brown opened a 35-acre fruit and poultry farm in Loganville, Pa.
