The grain department is an aggressive basis-trading elevator, originating grain within a 100-mile radius of Deerfield. The agronomy department custom applies fertilizer, crop protection products and lime to farmer s fields. The equipment division sells Brock grain and feed bins, Farm Fans grain dryers and Hutchinson augers. Deerfield Farms also raises corn, soybeans and wheat.
