Sculpture in The South is a nonprofit organization that promotes the education of the art of sculpture by providing permanent sculpture pieces to Summerville's public places. The permanent sculpture pieces are purchased with the proceeds realized by the annual sculpture show and sale.
The Bicycle & Outdoor Shoppe specializes in bicycle sales and rentals. It is the low country's oldest bicycle sales and service store. If you're visiting the area as a tourist, the shop rents bikes for adults and for children. In addition to bikes, The Bicycle & Outdoor Shoppe sells kayaks and other outdoor items. Pampered Palate Bakery specializes in cakes and baked goods. Specialty items include wedding cakes, groom cakes and muffins. The bakery makes more than 50 varieties of cheesecakes and provides baked goods for restaurants throughout the Charleston area. Phone orders are welcomed.
