Members of Holy Cross Episcopal Church, located at the corner of Center Street and Heyer Avenue, are active throughout the week. They hold community-service events like Project Warmth, where members knit and crochet lap robes for local AIDS charities, and run vacation bible schools for kids. At Holy Cross, "diversity of all sorts is encouraged and respected," making it a place where all people are welcome. On the first Sunday of each month there's a group walk through the church's outdoor labyrinth.
