Company History Davis Engineering Service (DES) was established in Del Norte, Colorado in 1948 by Paul B. Davis, P.E./P.L.S., a 1939 graduate of the Colorado School of Mines. Initially, the firm was engaged in land and mine surveying and water filings. Since that time, the firm has steadily increased its scope of engineering and surveying services to accommodate and facilitate the needs of our diverse clientele.
