Bea Underwood Elementary School serves students in grades one through six and offers variety of educational services. It provides various extracurricular activities and after-school programs, including sign language, cooking, drama, gymnastics, dance, reading, Spanish, debate and Web site clubs. The school also organizes field trips for its students. In addition, it provides special school programs that include various after-school classes, vocal music instructions, physical education and counseling. The school also organizes various events, such as book fairs, family craft nights, choir contests, musical performances and movie night. Bea Underwood Elementary School is administered by the Garfield County School District 16, which operates middle, elementary and high schools and an early childhood literacy center.
