The Senior Adult Activity Center of Montgomery County offers educational, social and recreational programs. There are three locations in Montgomery County that service adults of 50 years and over.
Programs provided include dance classes, yoga, telehealth, gentle exercise, full-body fitness and tai chi. The Ambler location offers specialized workshops such as "Boomer U" to help assist seniors to live healthy lifestyles and build social connections.
Inter-Faith Housing Alliance is located at the St. John's Parish on South Spring Garden Street in Ambler. Since 1983, Inter-Faith Housing has been Ambler's primary means of support to homeless families in central Montgomery County. I-FHA's services include short-term (90 days) emergency shelter for families, a community food cupboard, and long-term transitional housing where families can stay for up to two years.
