It turns out that an IV infusion of NAD is a safe and excellent way to detox. NAD isn’t addictive like medications used during a detox, and it successfully stops cravings. Most patients find that their cravings are diminished within a day or two and gone by the end of their detox. NAD detox only takes about two weeks, and it’s done on an outpatient basis. Dr. Repass treats alcohol, opioid, methamphetamine, cannabis, benzodiazepine, and kratom addictions. This has helped me to understand healthcare from many perspectives. During the 2000s, I was with Elliott Bay Medical Group, a concierge medical practice, serving as president for the last two years. Through its association with Carena, Inc., I delivered healthcare the old-fashioned way through 24-hour-a-day house calls. I then worked in the Swedish Medical Center Executive Health Department, serving as co-medical director. In this setting I continued to provide concierge medical care which reinforced the value we were able to bring to patients by spending more time with them. More recently I worked at The Polyclinic where I focused on delivering in-depth, comprehensive care for every patient. Under this philosophy I quickly built a substantial patient base in a couple of years. I continue to have a close working relationship with Swedish Medical Center and The Polyclinic.Outside of medicine I have many other interests. I love home remodeling projects, hiking and snowshoeing in the Cascade Mountains, traveling and reading.
