Located in Clay Center, Kan., Clay Center Family Physicians has been providing medical care to the citizens of Clay Center and surrounding communities in Kansas for more than 20 years. In addition to the main office in Clay Center, medical services are provided at satellite clinics in Wakefield, Linn and Clyde, Kan. Each facility is a Medicare-certified rural health clinic. The clinic has a nationally accredited laboratory that offers various services, including routine health care, treatment of acute illnesses and chronic diseases, and pediatrics, including child checkups, and health examinations. It also provides geriatric care, pregnancy care, gynecology and Pap smears, minor surgery, vasectomies, diabetes care, treatment of injuries and fractures, electrocardiography, and bone density testing. The clinic also offers physical examinations for school and pre-employment, health maintenance and disease prevention programs, flu shots, cancer screening including colonoscopy, breast examinations, birth control and family planning, and nursing home care services.
