Moonakis is like a diner, but it is not a diner. It is a bright and cheery little house that serves breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is wholesome and "homey." There is a counter, plenty of tables, and lots of light. Breakfast dishes include several styles of eggs, pancakes, and waffles. Lunch is good ol' American sandwiches, salads, burgers and fries.

Milk Bar is a sweet (and occasionally savory) shop that’s been quietly shaking up the dessert scene since 2008. Bon Appetit magazine called us “one of the most exciting bakeries in the country.” But you can literally just call us Milk Bar. Founded by James Beard award-winning pastry chef Christina Tosi, Milk Bar is known for inventing: the Compost Cookie®, layer cakes with unfrosted sides, Cereal Milk™ Soft Serve, Milk Bar Pie the first flip phone and shoulder pads (Ok, technically those last two weren’t us). Snag some standout treats and skip off to your next adventure.

SoCo Creamery is a micro-creamery based in the Berkshires of western Mass producing ultra-premium ice cream, sorbet, and gelato. Using the finest ingredients available, our search for better quality is a never ending process. We proudly partner with many local purveyors such as farms and bakeries to utilize and support the best the Berkshire has to offer. For more than two decades, owner Danny Mazursky has been perfecting the art of small batch production. In 1989, straight out of college, Danny moved to the Berkshires to help run a scoop shop his mother had purchased. He served as production manager and head of product development, creating a line of specialty flavors that resulted in lines out the door. Word spread about the decadent ice cream locally made in the Berkshires, and the business expanded to include 9 stores in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Virginia. In 2005, Danny bought the NE sector of the business. Ready for a fresher, hipper image that reflects the local roots yet urbane sensibility of the Berkshires, Danny renamed the business SoCo creamery ( South County Creamery ) and introduced the brand with a new logo in rich, smooth colors. Scaling back the retail shops to one key locations in Great Barrington and Lenox, Danny refocused the company on wholesale growth. In 2008, SoCo partnered with Guidos, a Berkshire-based gourmet market, to co-brand a line of private label ice cream. Plans are in the works to bring the award-winning product to restaurants, gourmet markets, and hotels within a 200-mile radius of Berkshire county.
