Lil People's World encourages kids to tap into curiosity while learning, growing and developing. With a belief that kids learn best when actively involved in activities and exploration, Lil People's World has a curriculum of daily activities filled with hands-on learning. Infants, toddlers and preschoolers all attend here and are provided with age appropriate activities to help foster learning.
Located on Peacock Hill Avenue, Little Lambs Preschool is part of Agnus Dei Lutheran Church, which was organized in October 1979. Little Lambs Preschool opened in September 1995. Since then, it has been providing early childhood education for 2- to 5-year-old children. Class schedules and tuition vary depending on the student's age. The school curriculum includes science, writing, art and music.
Sumner Cooperative Preschool is a parent-managed cooperative preschool for children ages 18 months to five years old. At Sumner Co-op, parents take an active role in their child's enducation through parenting courses affilated with Home and Life program at Bates Technical College. The Bates Program helps parents become active participants in their child's development and enrollment in the Bates program give you discounted rates for the preschool.
The parenting courses at Sumner Co-op Preschool offer a network of support, tools and resources to participating families. The groups meet 2 to 3 times a month under the direction of a preschool teacher. It also offers quarterly meetings in classes and lectures at the Bates Technical College South Campus.
The Co-op preschool is located at Christ The King Lutheran Church, near the entrance to Shepard's Field.
