KinderArt is a preschool program for children ages 2 to 6, with the goal of "inspiring confident enthusiastic learners." Located on Valley Road, KinderArt is an integrative program that offers a variety of activities for all of its ages groups. Children are broken up into "Little Lambs" (ages 2-3); "Caterpillars" (ages 3-4); "Butterflies" (ages 4-5); and Kindergarten (ages 5-6).
In addition to its regular school program, summer camps, school vacation camps and after-school programs are also available. Infant care is also offered.
The center was founded in 1992 and is fully licensed by the RI Department of Children, Youth and Families and the RI Department of Education.
Sea Side Nursery School is a small, family-owned preschool that provides before and after school programs, from 6:30am to 5pm, for children ages three to six. Children can be enrolled at any time during the school year and for a special six-week summer program.
Children participate in arts and crafts and story time. They learn responsibility and good citizenship through an arts enriched program and personalized attention. Children also have the opportunity to participate in taking care of classroom pets to build responsibility.
Kids Quarters offers programs for infants and school-age children. It provides a balanced program of interaction in child-directed and teacher-directed experiences.This program is child-centered and based on the belief that children learn best through play. Every classroom has centers for literature, science, pre-math, art, drama, cognitive and small motor development. All staff are CPR and first-aid certified and a nurse is on staff. Montessori of Greenwich Bay is a school for children ages 18 months to 5 years old located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. The school employs the Montessori method, an approach to education based on research done by Marie Montessori in the early 1900s. The Montessori method encourages self-directed learning in an environment conducive to exercising the child's natural instincts.
