The Harrison Dance Studio is located on South High Street and is known for being Pennsylvania's largest training school for children, although Harrison offers dance lessons for students aged 3 to adulthood. The Dance Center, located near the Village Dance Shoppe and the Dave Matthews School of Dance, is the official school of the Brandywine Ballet. Since 1973, the school has trained those with a serious interest in pursuing a career in dance—Dance Center students have gone on to perform all over the world. The school offers three state-of-the-art studios, the largest being 2,000 square feet.
The Crane Performing Arts School has been providing quality dance instruction in a friendly atmosphere since 1975. Today, the school offers a variety of classes in a number of different styles, from ballet to hip-hop. Crane Performing Arts also offers a program for children, called Les Petites, that develops coordination and a knowledge of dance. Look for the school's entrance at the rear of the building.

The Rock School prepares students who are gifted in dance for careers as professionals. The primary goal of the School is to produce classically trained and versatile dancers. Classes include ballet, jazz, hip-hop, tap and contemporary. The School has developed dancers for premiere companies throughout the United States and internationally. More than 1,500 dancers from around the world audition each year.
