This large facility offers dance training for all ages, from pre-schoolers to adults, and for all skill levels, from beginners to serious dancers training for professional careers. All staff members are highly trained in their specific field of dance. Dancer's Workshop offers classes in tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, pointe, technique, hip-hop, Hawaiian and Tahitian dance. Serious dancers can also join the studio's competition group. In 2010, Dancer's Workshop was voted Best Dance Studio in Macomb County by readers of The Macomb Daily newspaper.
Valerie Stead Potsos is the director/owner of Dancer's Edge in downtown Dexter, Mich. She is also head coach of the nationally ranked University of Michigan Dance Team in nearby Ann Arbor. Classes offered at the studio include ballet, jazz, tap and modern dance; children's classes include Ballet for Babies, Mommy and Me, and Toddler Time. In addition, special event classes including Dancing for Weddings and several cardio classes are available.

Performer's Edge Dance Company, formerly Miss Harriet's Dance Studio, is run and owned by Miss Terri, the youngest daughter of Miss Harriet. She has been teaching dance for more than 25 years, and the studio is located in the heart of downtown Northville. It offers a wide range of classes for all ages, from tap, ballet, jazz and hip-hop. There are 10 instructors; some teach specific dance and some teach it all. Male instructors are available. Season runs September through mid-June. Payments can be paid in one of three options. Tuition fees are nonrefundable. Zumba classes on Wednesday from 8:15pm - 9:15pm.
