Chow's Gymnastics & Dance facility is located on Park Drive near Ridge Street. This gym offers gymnastics instructions in a world-class facility. Dance classes are also available for almost every age group. The facility is available for parties and also offers open and private lessons. This gym is the training home of Olympic champion Shawn Johnson.
This is an educational institution. School of Classical Ballet and Dance is a dance academy located in central West Des Moines. SCBD puts an emphasis on teaching its students the basics to get them started, and believes that performance is a large part of developing as a dancer. Occasional "low key," low pressure recitals are offered, giving students a performance to build toward.
