Artistic Director and Owner Kelly Almeida ([email protected]) has been a dance instructor for over two decades. She has extensive experience teaching both children and adults in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Musical Theater and Tumbling. Miss Kelly truly believes that every dancer – no matter what their age or experience level – has the ability to achieve success.
After founding Kelly's Dance Academy in the New England area in July 1996, she duplicated her successful formula and formed her namesake studio in Pasco County. The recipient of multiple Regional and National Awards at competitions nationwide, her upbeat classes, creative stage sets and annual recitals bring students back year after year.
Instruction is available from age 2 (princess class) to adult (hip hop and ballroom) and are held in 30-45 minute or one-hour sessions. Both of Miss Kelly's studios boast observation windows, so friends and family members can observe class sessions at all times. Sell's Broadway Dance Company is owner operated by Chris and Shanna Sell, who come directly from New York City. The two performed in the Broadway musical Cats. Sell's Broadway Dance Company offers beginner classes that include children, teens and adults. This studio also has workshops, events and summer camps.
Sell's offers performance opportunities, and does not do recitals. Sell's performs Broadway-style showa. Sell's also runs competition teams where you can compete in dance.
