Dancespace is a local dance studio. It offers instruction to children and adults, in addition to having summer workshops and performance opportunities. Dancespace offers classes in pointe, pre-ballet, ballet (beginner to advanced), choreography and composition, modern dance, jazz, creative movement and hip-hop. Its annual performance is produced in conjunction with the COterie DAnce Company at the Holy Names University. Dancespace is led by founder and instructor Beth Hoge.
The Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks is a nationwide fraternal organization established in 1868. It has more than 1 million members and more than 2,000 locations throughout the United States. The Elks is also a charitable foundation that gives away millions of dollars each year toward scholarships, youth programs, drug awareness programs and veterans' programs.
The Encinitas Elks Lodge offers plenty of activities for its members, including weekly dinners, daily happy hours, special-event parties, pool tournaments and Bingo. The lodge can be rented to nonmembers for business meetings or family events.

The Wrangler is a a country and live music bar that wants to "keep the western tradition alive." This saloon-looking bar has karaoke on Wednesday and Thursday nights and live country music on Fridays and Saturdays. Go inside to have a drink or to listen to country bands play. Students of CAPA often perform for professional companies around the world and throughout the USA. The academy works with people over 24 years old and is staffed by some of the finest professionals in the Bay Area.
Classical Ballet Academy (CBA) has been serving Altadena and the San Gabriel Valley since 1990. It is one of the top dance academies in the area, and was founded by former professional dancer Crystal Peterson.
CBA is open to students preparing for a professional career or to individuals seeking to dance for the fun of it. The techniques taught at CBA are a blend of Russian, Danish, English, Italian, French and Balanchine.

Stampede is located in Old Town Temecula on the west side. It's a very large place with a spacious dance floor. It claims to be the West Coast's largest country music venue, but also plays rock 'n' roll, and has hip hop nights on Wednesdays. Carbon is located on Venice Boulevard, just outside of downtown Culver City. Directly across from a small park and nestled behind another building, Carbon is a long, black narrow strip of a nightclub. Open every night until 2am, they have DJs every night, each highlighting a different musical theme or genre. Check their website for a rolling list of DJs and theme nights. They are available to host private events. They have a full bar and customers must be 21 to enter.
