Established in 1958, UNIVERSAL Electric Corporation is a custom manufacturer of power distribution system products, crane electrification and trolley systems and is comprised of two divisions, U-S Safety Trolley and Starline Track Busway. The company s goal is to deliver power distribution systems, trolley systems and busbar and communication line power to its customers that reduce system installation labor time, reduce maintenance costs and increase access to electric power. U-S Safety Trolley was one of the first to pioneer the use of no-joint electric conductor bars through crane electrification products, such as Span-Guard and TriBar/FourBar. Starline Track Busway forged a family of power distribution products, which include quick plug-in receptacles, continuous access along the entire bus-run, bus-run lengths not limited to 20 foot runs, true grid configurations and lightweight aluminum housings for industrial use and designed for high-end retail lighting use.
