Patty Baker is Cherokee County's Clerk of Superior, State, Juvenile and Magistrate Courts. Her office maintains all recorded documents, including deeds and passports.
The Cobb County Magistrate Court, one of the largest in Georgia, issues arrest warrents and holds hearing to determine probable cause in criminal cases. This court doesn't determine guilt or innocence, except in cases involving violations of county ordinances.
This court often handles cases involving abandoned vehicles, bad checks, drugs, environmental issues, rent disputes, mediation and small claims. The court also conducts weddings at 6pm each weekday and at noon and 6pm on the weekend and county holidays.
This court also has the distinction of being one of the few courts in the United States that operates for 24 hours a day.

The City of Fenton is a modern municipality in southwest St. Louis County. Known as The City of Parks, Fenton offers a variety of recreation opportunities, including walking and bike trails, parks, picnic shelters, athletic facilities and a nature preserve. The four-mile Fenton Meramec Greenway trail meanders along the Meramec River that defines the city's eastern boundary, and the Riverchase Recreation Center is home to a wide variety of sports leagues for youth and adults, aquatics programs and exercise programs. The City of Fenton has no municipal real estate or personal property taxes, and no curbside trash pickup or recycling fees. Fire protection services are provided by the Fenton Fire Protection District. Police protection is provided by the St. Louis County Police Department. The Springfield municipal building contains several township offices, including tax collection, administration and finance. The meeting center on the second floor hosts the municipal court and government meetings.
To serve as a juror in Cherokee County, you cannot have a felony conviction (unless civil rights have been restored) and you must be a U.S. citizen, a county resident and at least 18 years old. Jurors are randomly selected from a list of eligible citizens that the Cherokee County Board of Commissioners maintains.
The Montgomery County District Court on Montgomery Avenue in the Penn Valley neighborhood handles criminal, civil, traffic and small claims cases. The judge is Henry J. Schireson.
The Newark Municipal Court is the largest municipal court in New Jersey. There are 12 full-time judges and more than 100 court employees working in this courthouse. Individuals can pay for parking and moving violations (room 105) and make inquiries regarding minor criminal matters (room 207).
The Hoboken Municipal Court is located on the first floor of the City Hall building at Washington Street.
The Municipal Court is in session Tuesday through Thursday beginning at 9am. Night court is held on Tuesdays beginning at 6pm.

The Salisbury Township municipal building houses the office of the township manager, assistant manager/director of finance, director of planning, zoning and code enforcement and the tax collector. The police and public works departments are next door in the municipal annex. Salisbury Township was founded in 1753, but through a series of annexations lost much of its land to neighboring municipalities. It consists of 11.3 square miles, the second smallest township in Lehigh County. It is a largely suburban residential area that flanks the east and south sides of Allentown. The township's east and west sides are not contiguous.

Founded in 1978, the district trial court handles civil and criminal cases filed in the cities of Somerville and Medford. Among the types of cases heard are small claims, motor vehicle infractions, probation hearings and restraining orders. During fiscal year 2009, the Somerville District Court held proceedings for over 14,900 cases--or an average of 60 per business day.
Magisterial District Number 05-2-19 serves Dormont and Mount Lebanon. District justices handle issues including traffic tickets and determine whether there is probable cause for criminal cases to advance to common pleas court. District Judge Larotonda is serving his second six-year term.
The Holly Springs Municipal Court moved to its present location November 2004, and meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 10 am for hearings. The court is located in the Holly Springs Public Safety Building.
Falmouth Trial Court, also known as Falmouth District Court, has in its jurisdiction the towns of Falmouth, Mashpee and Bourne.
The Snellville Municipal Court is located within City Hall, which also houses the mayor and city manager's office, the planning department and the city clerk. Court is held on the first floor in the same location as Snellville Council meetings. Judge Mark Layng and Associate Judge Angela Duncan preside.
The Middlesex County Fourth District Court is located in downtown Woburn on Pleasant Street. The court's jurisdiction includes Woburn, Burlington, North Reading, Reading, Stoneham, Wilmington and Winchester.
The Hon. Timothy H. Gailey is the presiding justice at the court, with the Hon. J. Elizabeth Cremens and the Hon. Tobin N. Harvey serving as associate justices.
