Wasco Countys Department of Public Works consists mainly of the County Road Division. It is responsible for the construction and maintenance of roadway, bridges, several culverts and numerous of other related items, such as signs and guardrail. Road maintenance activities include pavement maintenance, gravel road grading, ditch and culvert cleaning, brushing, snow and ice removal, bridge maintenance and sign maintenance. Located in Dalles, Ore., it offers a host of services, including Administration and Support Services, Engineering, Road Operations, Geographic Information System (GIS) and Weed/Watermaster Division. Wasco Countys Department of Public Works is a division of Wasco County Oregon, established in 1854.
