The Lake Patrol division provides patrol services for Lake Kaweah and Lake Success. It is a part of the Parks & Recreation department, which is responsible for the maintenance of Alpaugh, Bartlett, Cutler, Ledbetter and Pixley parks. The department offers the Adopt-An-Arbor program for businesses, community groups and individuals to provide financial support for the refurbishment and maintenance of parks. The Parks & Recreation department is a part of the Resource Management Agency, which is governed by Tulare County in California. The agency maintains administrative, engineering, planning, solid waste, transportation, and community development and redevelopment departments. It has a permit center that issues permits for building and land use and employee housing administration.
