The mission of the Marinette County Sheriffs Department is to protect and serve all of the residents and visitors of Marinette County by providing the highest quality of law enforcement services possible. Its sub department includes operating the local jail. The department is involved in two committees, the Law Enforcement and Emergency Management Committee and the Traffic Safety Commission. The Traffic Safety Commission reviews traffic accidents and makes written recommendations for any corrective actions to appropriate departments, county boards, county highway committees or any other branch of local government. The Marinette County Sheriffs Department is located in Marinette, Wis.
