Founded in 1983, Tri-County MHMR Services is a community center that provides mental health and mental retardation services to the residents of the Texas counties of Montgomery, Liberty and Walker. The center offers a diverse array of service options, including contracted psychiatric hospitalization, outpatient psychiatric and nursing services, counseling, supported employment, vocational training, supported housing, care management, crisis intervention, home-based therapies, parent and child training, day treatment and residential living. Tri-County MHMR services serves 4,000-plus patients each year and employs more than 300 people. The center maintains facilities in Huntsville, Cleveland, Liberty, Dayton and Conroe, Texas. Conroe is also home to the center s headquarters.
