East Las Vegas Public Health Center is a part of Southern Nevada Health District, one of the largest local public health organizations in the United States. The health district serves more than 1.5 million residents and is also responsible with safeguarding the public health of over 37 million visitors to Las Vegas each year. It provides birth and death certificates, environmental health services, registering of citizen complaints and issuing of health cards. The center additionally offers various nursing and clinic services, including blood pressure screenings, day care exams, family planning, healthy kids examinations, HIV and AIDS tests, adult and child immunizations, and baby examinations.
