Offices for the Westchester District Attorney are located in the Westchester Supreme and County Courthouse. The District Attorney's Office prosecutes almost 40,000 cases a year and is made up of five divisions. Each division is further broken down into bureaus. The homicide bureau is under the superior court trial division.
Westchester County's Bail Expediting office is in the Westchester County Department of Finance, located in the County's office building on Martine Avenue. It offers assessments, enhanced information and bail expediting. Its target demographic consists of detainees who have $5,000 in bail or less without pending warrants.
