Family Stages provides education, entertainment and enrichment programs for people of all ages. The organization provides theatrical performances and programs such as workshops, classes and camps during the spring and summer seasons. A program for people with Asperger's and autism is also available. Some of the shows performed during their touring productions are That Fabulous Franklin, Finding King Tut, The Legend of Finn McCool and Cinderella. Oreland performances are held at Christ's Lutheran Church.

The center has been in existence for 55 years and has a mission to help foster an excellent lifestyle for its members. Robbins Park is a 38 acre plot of natural land located in Maple Glen. The park was jointly founded in 1975 by Upper Dublin Township and Upper Dublin High School, after a number of land donations by the Cheston family, Robbins family and Westrum properties. Since then, the park has served the local community and supported the Upper Dublin education system as a place to learn about the natural world.

Upper Dublin Evangelical Luthern Church has been a place of worship in the Ambler community for more 250 years. Over time the church's mission has developed into being an inviting place to practice faith, leading to the church's motto, "A Welcome Place." A congregation of roughly 360 meets during one of three Sunday worship times at 7:45, 9 and 10:30am. During services, a Sunday nursery and school is available. The church also runs a number of youth, music and mission programs, in addition to study groups and other services. The church also enjoys the use of a playground and multi-purpose room. Mondauk Common is a community park featuring a variety of public access amenities. While some play a game on one of the park's five softball fields or two-and-a-half basketball courts, tots while away at the playground and others take a brisk walk through its partially wooded trail along the perimeter. Parking lots are located at the Keisel Lane-Dillon Road intersection, the corner of Dillon Road and Susquehanna Road and on Broad Street, between Gentlemens Way and Twin Pond Drive.

First Presbyterian Church has provided the Ambler community with a welcoming and warm place to worship for more than 118 years. The large congregation, at about 650 members, places a high value on inclusiveness and togetherness. Two services are held each Sunday in the church's beautiful stone building on North Street: a traditional service at 9:30am, and an alternative service that includes a praise band and other contemporary facets at 11:00am. Although the services are welcome to all and translations are provided, the church communicates with the Korean language. Located at the corner of Susquehanna Road and Butler Pike, Rose Hill Cemetery is peaceful and attractive with well maintained grounds. There are plentiful older trees to provide shade and, in the spring, the grounds abound with numerous flowering plants. There are ample remaining plots and, although serviced by the adjacent Lutheran church, the cemetery is open to people of all faiths. A full-time cemetery superintendent is available to help with all arrangements.

Inter-Faith Housing Alliance is located at the St. John's Parish on South Spring Garden Street in Ambler. Since 1983, Inter-Faith Housing has been Ambler's primary means of support to homeless families in central Montgomery County. I-FHA's services include short-term (90 days) emergency shelter for families, a community food cupboard, and long-term transitional housing where families can stay for up to two years.

St. Anthony's welcomes all members of the Roman Catholic faith to worship in its congregation. Zion Baptist Church has been a cornerstone of the Ambler community since its founding in 1895. Zion has been at its current location since 1925, during which the building was expanded and updated several times to account for the growing congregation. Today, the building features a number of modern additions, such as an elevator, public address system and multimedia center. Zion Baptist holds two Sunday services, at 7:30am and 10:45am. The church also holds a mid-week prayer on Wednesdays, and a number of Bible studies and suppers throughout the week.

Trinity Church has been a vibrant Episcopalian congregation since its founding in 1908. The church enjoys worshipping in a big, beautiful stone building located on a sprawling green plot of land at the corner of South Bethlehem Pike and Ardross Avenue.
