Holy Innocents Church is located on Bedford Avenue at the intersection of Tompkins Avenue. There is parking available on the adjacent streets and in nearby municipal lots. The current establishment was dedicated by John Cardinal O'Connor, New York's Archbishop, on December 13, 1987.
Nannahagan Park is located on Lake Street. The park has playground equipment, a walking trail and basketball courts. There is also a pond for fishing.
The United Methodist Church of Pleasantville began in the 1780s, but the present building was built in 1961. It has long been part of the town's civic life and does good work teaching local inmates, helping victims of Katrina and helping the children of Cambodia. Today, the church is noted for its annual Christmas tree sale.

The Marmaduke Forster House is large Victorian-style house built by Marmaduke Forster in 1786. It has since been renovated a few times. Currently the house has been converted into office space that is used by professionals and small business owners. The structure features an 80-foot front porch, elaborate woodwork throughout and a Queen Anne octagonal turret. The Marmaduke Forster House is currently being registered into the National Registry of Historic Places. There is also a wine club here that holds monthly meetings, tastings and dinners.
Founded in 1997, Pleasantville Community Synagogue is a progressive Jewish congregation located on Bedford Road in Pleasantville. Led by Rabbi Mark Sameth, the congregation subscribes to a liberal minded, "joyful Judaism," participating in worship, religious education, holiday observation and community outreach programs. The oldest house in Pleasantville is the Rectory of St. John's dating from 1785. The current church, however, dates back to 1912.
