North Country Reform Temple is a progressive Jewish congregation located on Crescent Beach Road in Glen Cove. New Health Kids is a children's advocacy and wellness center that offers a variety of resources and programs for children and parents. The center offers classes, seminars and in-home education programs that focus on health, educational, emotional, physical and social development, nutrition, fitness and early childhood care.
This nonprofit organization helps feed the homeless at the First Baptist Church in Glen Cove. This soup kitchen offers meals to the hungry three days a week. It is part of a larger organization that helps to feed the homeless all across Long Island that is called, The INN.
First Presbyterian Church holds worship services every Sunday morning. All are welcome, regardless of race, background or sexuality. The pastor is the Reverend Betsy Simpson. Communion is celebrated on the first Sundays of each month. The church also celerates and holds special services, including services during Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Pride Sunday, Women's Sunday, Children's Sabbath and in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King. Sunday school for children and adults is offered. Nursery services are available.
The City of Glen Cove Hotline is a service to members of the community that need to report illegal housing operations. The callers may remain anonymous, but are required to provide a time, date and address of the offender as well as a synopsis of the situation.
St. Paul's Episcopal Church hosts Sunday worship services. It also provides a nursery school and religious education for young adults. The Family Choir program is open to congregants 10 years of age and older. No audition is required.
