The Italian American Cultural Society is an organization that is dedicated to preserving the traditions, customs and values of the local Italian American community. The society hosts a variety of events throughout the year including Festa Italiana and a Columbus Day celebration, along with lectures, musical programs, art exhibits, patriotic observations and other social events. Special activities for senior citizens include card games, dance programs and crafts. The society also publishes a monthly bilingual newspaper. The facilities are available to rent for weddings, parties and other events.
Located in the Pointe Village Square shopping mall, The Memory Room offers space for gatherings of all kinds, from community events to private parties. Weekdays, the Memory Room hosts activities for local organizations including church groups, senior living facilities and schools and weeknights offers activities for the whole family. On weekends, the space may be rented for private parties and events.
