The Healing Center is a holistic health practice founded by Joanna Scaparotti. Its wellness services include massage, Reiki, spiritual healing, reflexology, herbal consultations, breath work and yoga therapy. The Franco-American Club is a non-profit organization which operates a community center open to members of the community. It has a banquet hall on the premises which is available for use to community groups free of charge.
The McPherson Youth Center is part of the Greater Beverly YMCA, which also includes the Sterling YMCA and the Cabot Street YMCA. The Greater Beverly YMCA provides early education programs, after-school care and camps for kids and teens, plus health and wellness programs and opportunities for physical activity and exercise. The McPherson Youth Center offers activities for boys and girls ages 11 to 18. Kids can hang out after school, play pool, video games or air hockey, use the center's computer lab or join a recreational sports league. The McPherson Youth Center is located next to Innocenti Park.
