Eastern Idaho Technical College, also known as EITC, provides a variety of educational programs that focus on the needs of individual students. EITC is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The college, founded in 1969, offers a variety of technical and customized industrial training programs, basic skills instruction, work force and community education, online distance education courses and student services. EITC has several academic divisions to provide educational services in a range of areas, such as business, office and technology, health professions, general education, and trades and industry. The college also offers classes in accounting, biology, chemistry, communications, computer information systems, economics, health care, English, marketing, psychology, sociology, surgical technology and welding. It is located in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
