Formed in 1964, College Of The Redwoods is a public, comprehensive community college serving Humboldt County. Based in Fort Bragg, Calif., it provides services such as highly qualified and educated faculty, residence halls, counseling and advising, woodworking programs and campus facility which have picturesque campus situated on 268 acres of land overlooking the Humboldt Bay national wildlife refuge. Additionally it offers community and economic development courses. The College is an institutional member of the American Association of Community Colleges and the Community League of California.
