Founded in 1896 and located in Collierville, Tenn., Central Church promotes Christianity through worship, study and services. The church offers spiritual and emotional guidance and biblical teachings to the communities based throughout the region. The church s vision is to become a strategic training center for the gospel of Jesus Christ by making disciples committed to God, family and church who care for people in and beyond their community. It operates various ministries, including art ministries, ministry for caring and prayer, children, college and young adults, counseling, family life, men, missions, God and country, music, small group, Sunday school, women, and youth. It additionally offers various family and home programs, including Church music, religious material for children and youth, and various scripture and publications. The church also provides counseling to people suffering from emotional disturbances.
