The Pleasantville Justice Court is located on the second floor of 80 Wheeler Avenue. The courtroom, which also serves as a meeting room, shares a building with Village Hall government offices and the Village of Pleasantville Police Department. The court clerk is available on the third floor.

Court is in session every Tuesday at 6pm. Criminal court is held every other week. On alternating Tuesdays, the court hears vehicle and traffic as well as civil and small claims cases.

The Pleasantville Police Department shares a building with Pleasantville Village Hall and Justice Court. Although it's accessible from Wheeler Avenue, the main entrance is located on Bedford Road. The building is handicapped accessible via the lift located in the Police Department.

The Justice Court deals with various matters of the law within town boundaries. These range from criminal laws, to small claims civil laws, to traffic tickets and local laws. Traffic violations can be paid by mail, while people who contest their tickets are scheduled to appear at 7:30 pm on the date given to them on the ticket. The hours allowed for filing civil cases are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Village of Pleasantville government offices share a building with the Village Justice Court and Police Department on Wheeler Avenue, offering a central place to serve the 7,600 residents of Pleasantville. At the Village Hall, residents can access the court clerk, superintendent of recreation, village administrator, village clerk, accounts payable and village treasurer on the third floor of the building. Services include assistance in tax payment, registering for recreational activities, applying for building permits and the issuing of birth and death certificates.
