Established in 1972, this Brook Street office services as Connecticut Lottery Corporation's headquarters. In fiscal year 2010, the Connecticut Lottery Corporation provided a record $285.5 million to support the valuable services and programs funded by the state's General Fund including public health, libraries, public safety, education and more. Since the start of operation, the Lottery has returned more than $6.9 billion to the General Fund. The Lottery Corporation spends millions of dollars on educating consumers on underage and responsible gambling.

In Somers, the job of the tax collector is to enforce the collection of taxes imposed by the town. It strives to maintain a customer-friendly office that is devoted to serving the public. If residents are paying bills via mail, they can write a check. If they are paying in person, they may use a money order, bank check or personal check - except for delinquent motor vehicle taxes- major credit cards except American Express and cash. For a small user fee, residents may also pay their taxes online using a credit card or debit card.

The town hall has been at its current location since 2002.
This building is around the corner from Fire Station 1 on Main Street. The Meadow Road structure was built in 1906. Another portion was built in 1958. No fire equipment is stored here.

The town clerk's office is responsible for the recording of all land records, birth, marriage and death records, maps and more. The Somers town clerk's office is also a Federal passport agency processing center.

The office of the Town Clerk handles many functions including information on disability permits, animal licenses, absentee ballots, committee meeting schedules, committee agendas and minutes, death certificates, deeds, property and real estate files and records, fish and game licenses, marriage license and certificates, shellfish licenses and state statutes.
The city of Bridgeport Parks Department houses both its park supplies as well as the Parks and Recreation department here. Charles Carroll is Bridgeport's Public Facilities and Parks director.
The Stratford Post Office on Main Street offers supplies, stamps and mailing services for businesses and individuals.
The Farmington Valley Visiting Nurse Association provides home health aide and hospice care for residents of the Granbys, Farmington and Simsbury. The Granby office is one of two satellites offices of the central Simbury location and hospice.
The FV-VNA runs a variety of clinic health care programs from its Granby Community Programs office. The association works closely with patients, employers, institutions and insurance companies to promote accessibility to healthcare services. The association's clinics offer blood pressure, cholesterol and blood glucose screenings, immunization programs and health education. The FV-VNA also runs a number of wellness programs at area schools and businesses.
The department has two stations, one is on Shelton Road and another at 582 Booth Hill Rd. Shelton Road's station is equipped with one engine, a firetruck and a rescue truck. The chief is Shawn Rice.
