The City of Long Beach owns this heated indoor pool whose floor-to-ceiling glass walls afford a beautiful view of the beach and of Belmont Veterans Memorial Pier.

The pool is very popular in the summer, when lifeguards are on duty during most non-competition swimming times. Multiple Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Phelps and other Olympic or aspiring Olympic athletes have competed in these 16 lanes. An added bonus many locals don't know about: the small but fully outfitted weight room next to the front desk.
