Now in its 50th year, the Montana Branch of the Santa Monica Public Library serves the community's north side. The original iteration of this branch was located at a rented storefront space near 15th and Montana; on March 1, 1960, it reopened at its current location, which was designed by architect Weldon Fulton. The Montana Branch is accessible by the Big Blue Bus (Line 3) and the Crosstown Ride.
