The Noroton Presbyterian Church in Darien was organized in 1863. Today, the Parish Pastor is Reverend Samuel A. Schreiner III.
The church has a number of ministries, groups and programs, which provide spiritual support for adults. Programs geared toward middle school and high school aged children are also offered. The Tot Drop and the Noroton Presbyterian Nursery School are also organized by and located at the church.
Services are held on Sunday mornings, and in the summertime parishioners worship at Weed Beach, weather permitting. Mp3s of many sermons can be found on the Noroton Presbyterian Church Web site, along with PDFs of Parish publications.
A Parish in The Diocese of Bridgeport, St. John Parish is a Roman Catholic Church in Darien. The church offers parishioners a number of ministries and programs for community involvement. These include music and education programs, a youth group, education, and an inner city soup-kitchen program.
Pastor Monsignor Frank McGrath leads the parish, and Mass is held daily. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is given on Saturday afternoons from 3pm to 4pm, or by appointment.
