Bible Students of Oakland County consists of a group of young and old adults who subscribe to Christian, Bible-based teachings without a specific denomination. The group welcomes newcomers of all different backgrounds, and prides itself on working together to find truths and lifestyle lessons within the Bible. It meets regularly in the homes of members, encouraging an organic Christian community.
Bridge Community Church is located on Rochester Road in Troy, and is a multi-ethnic Christian and Missionary Alliance church. The C & MA is "an evangelical denomination with a major emphasis on world evangelization."
The Bridge Community Church is located across from the Sylvan Glen Golf Course, between Long Lake adn Square Lake roads.
Youth ministry and Sunday school are available. The church believes in "servant evangelism," which means serving God through good works. Some examples of their missions include raking leaves for seniors, school backpacks for ESL students, participation in the National Day of Prayer and and indoor Nativity display at Christmas.
Sunday worship services are held from 10am to 11am. The Connections program is held from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm. Thursday prayer meetings are held at 7pm.
Troy Church of Christ is one of the original Church of Christ's in the Troy community. It aligns itself with the traditions and history of the Church of Christ denomination, which dates back to the original Pilgrims, but believes that the denomination evolves with humans over time to incorporate the human condition. Troy Church strives to be a literal church that follows the teachings of Christ, while admitting human imperfections. The church offers Sunday services in addition to youth and other outreach ministries.
Troy Christian Chapel is non-denominational church. They do not consider this a reaction against other denominations, but a reflection of their belief that the body of Christ is comprised not of various or specific segments of Christianity, but by Christians as a whole. They regularly welcome newcomers and regulars alike, offering a wide range of youth and study activities, making them family-friendly and popular in the community.
In addition to worship services, Zion Christian Church offers childcare, a children's ministry, men's ministry and youth ministry, where young adults come together to learn and grow. The church's mission is to "make successful Christians of all people."
Central Woodward Christian Church is part of a newer denomination in Christianity called the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). The church seeks to be community-oriented and works to serve the community, whether local or global. Central Woodward welcomes newcomers each week to its Sunday services. It also offers a variety of other ministries, such as choir and youth ministries.
