Wakeeney KOA "The place to stay on your way" Greetings from Mark, Deb and our yorkie, Sophie! We want to welcome you to our home on the high plains of Kansas. We are located midway between Denver and Kansas City with easy access to and from I-70. RV sites are spacious pull thru sites to accommodate RVs of all types and sizes and do not require you to unhook. RV sites include access to 50/30 amp or 30 amp electric, water, sewer, cable TV and grass to relax on. Grass tent sites are large and private with access to electricity and water nearby. Cabins are available for those who want to camp without a RV or tent and are located near the restroom and shower facilities. Riding your motorcycle, come stay in a cabin or pitch a tent for the night. The restroom, shower and laundry room facilities are open 24 hours for your convenience. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the park. Take your pet for a walk around the open space before relaxing to the sounds of the resident songbirds while enjoying a beautiful sunset. During the summer months, the swimming pool is always refreshing after a long day on the open road. Also during the summer months, Sophies Kitchen offers an old-fashioned ice cream social, complete with root beer floats every evening and a pancake breakfast in the morning. If you like to golf, stay an extra day and play at Big Creek Golf Course only a mile away. Our goal is to make your stay a pleasant one to remember.

We started our business with one small house that needed a remodel job. Several months later, we added another small house that required a major face-lift, which is a work in progress. In the fall of 2007, we had the opportunity to purchase Inman Mobile Home Park which included some additional land. One year later we built a 12 site RV Park adjacent to the Mobile Home Park. In 2009 we added eight ( 8 ) additional RV sites. Our small rental business developed into Brown and Brown Investments, LLC and continues to gradually grow. Check our rental property site page to see what is currently available. On July 2, 2010 we began construction on the addition of nine ( 9 ) new RV sites. Our new sites opened July 20.
