Located in Jamestown, Ky., State Dock is a privately-owned marina and recreational area providing various cruising, skiing, fishing and houseboat riding services on the Lake Cumberland in Kentucky. It also sells pre-owned and new house boats and operates Lake Cumberland Poker Run program. It operates a large fleet of rental houseboats equipped with various amenities, including life jackets, silverware, utensils, air conditioners, sheets, blankets, pillows, VCRs, televisions and ropes. Its houseboats are also equipped with U.S. Coast Guard certified toilets and Marine Sanitation Systems. It also organizes various activities and events, such as boat races and shows, a fishing derby and celebrations of special events, such as Christmas and Labor Day. It also offers slips and is licensed by the Kentucky Department of Parks. It also offers other services, such as bellhop services, designated parking spots for slip customers, discounts on fuel and store purchases, and a restaurant and floating picnic area. It also offers the Chaparral and Gekko ski boats for individuals and families.
