The Hamden Board of Education offices are home to the superintendent of schools as well as the district's other top administrative positions. It also is where the Board of Education holds its meetings.
The Board of Education has set the following goals through the 2011 school year:
Goal 1 Eliminate the disparity in achievement for all students while significantly improving all students' performance.
Goal 2 Hamden Public School students will have a 95% attendance rate.
Goal 3 Ensure that all students graduate with the requisite skills to become productive citizens in the twenty-first century.
