After relocating from its popular nightlife spot in Fells Point in 2005, Hightopps Backstage Grille brought its rock n' roll themed atmosphere to Timonium -- adding onto it the largest outdoor dining area in Baltimore County. There are dining options for everyone at Hightopps with its seven unique dining areas, which include two dining rooms, secluded patio, indoor and outdoor bars, sports bar, enormous deck and boardwalk. There is also a children's play area in Hightopps's fenced in beach, featuring a pirate ship and jungle gym. Live music, daily drink specials and a late night kitchen are on tap seven nights a week.
Magooby's Joke House is a comedy and entertainment club. The location has a 240-square-foot stage and specializes in comedy performances, but also features other types of events, such as live music and corporate outings. CLOSED—The Valley Inn of Baltimore is a restaurant relic, in business since 1922. It is family owned and operated by John and Bud Hatfield. It serves a local clientele lunch and dinner. Located right off Falls Road, it is nestled between a nearby park and quaint Greenspring Station. Casual attire is appropriate; be sure to schedule a reservation if you plan to dine out in a large group.
